Application Scenario

The tritiated waste treatment system is used for receiving, storing and treating tritiated spent resin and tritiated wastewater. Key equipment includes tritiated wastewater storage tanks, tritiated spent-resin storage tanks, wastewater transfer pumps and a cement solidification subsystem.

Purpose

The system helps balance technical feasibility, economy and environmental safety in tritiated waste treatment, while reducing radiation-safety risks for personnel.

Implementation

Tritiated spent resin is flushed through pipelines to the spent-resin storage tank. To prevent blockage and improve transfer reliability, the process is designed with appropriate flushing, transfer and storage measures before subsequent treatment and solidification.
